The Background Paper Drive Set with chains and weight from PROMAGE allows you to raise or lower six background paper with a minimum of effort. The expandable cores that come with the system are inserted into both ends of your roll and tightened with a tension knob until your paper is securely held in place. If you prefer your gear drive on the right (as you face your background support system), mount the expansion cores external channel to the background support system. If you prefer your gear drive is on the left, mount the expansion core's internal channel. Once that is accomplished, thread the chain through the gear drive. The chain has a small weight on it to help with stability. PROMAGE chains are available in colors to help you distinguish the different drives when using a multiple background assembly. You can use four different background rolls with the fourfold hook bracket.
Installation Tips - It depends on what type of backdrop you'll use:
(1) For Paper Backdrop Roll with Center Rod - Directly slot the paper backdrop into the expansion rod;
(2) For Muslin or Canvas Backdrop Without Center Rod - You'll need to get a center rod and attach it to the expansion rod and roll the backdrop onto the pipe. （We have the rod sell separately）
